Tech Goes Home Chattanooga Celebrates Class of 2024 Learners and Community Impact at Year-End Event

DSC00252

In mid-December, Floor Five at The Edney was filled with celebration and joy for a Tech Goes Home 2024 graduation event. Staff members from Tech Goes Home and The Enterprise Center shared brunch, giveaways, face-painting and a photobooth with more than 100 Hamilton County residents who completed Tech Goes Home training this year.

Tech Goes Home Chattanooga, a digital literacy program serving people in Hamilton County, in 2024 reached more than 1,000 residents with digital skills training and essential laptop devices. The program was recently awarded additional state-level funding to expand offerings in the greater Chattanooga region.

Since 2015, more than 13,000 Tennesseans across the state have completed a Tech Goes Home course, and nearly 9,000 of those are residents in Hamilton County.

Through the program, participants gain skills, knowledge and resources, including essential computer skills and support tailored to their community’s specific needs.

But on graduation day, the focus shifted from digital training and education to fun. The Enterprise Center and Tech Goes Home team were grateful to celebrate the accomplishments of learners.

Thank you to the 200-plus partner organizations that make this work possible!
