Innovation District & Entrepreneurship

Innovation is a cornerstone of a healthy local economy, and The Enterprise Center supports a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Chattanooga and Hamilton County. The Enterprise Center is the organization behind Chattanooga’s Innovation District, a downtown neighborhood where corporate and academic institutions cluster with start-ups, business incubators, and creatives. The Edney Innovation Center, where our office is located, is the front door to the Innovation District. The Innovation District depends on countless partners in the area, including Co.Lab, River City Company, The Chattanooga Design Studio, The Downtown Chattanooga Alliance, The City of Chattanooga, The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, Artsbuild, Soundcorps, and others.

The Enterprise Center leads programming aimed to invite people into the Innovation District and also provides resources for entrepreneurs beyond the boundaries of the downtown district. We create tools and programming for innovators across industries, and people who are starting or growing businesses.
