Halloween Create & Paint Party – Scenic City Clay Arts

October 28, 2022 @ 4:30 am - 6:30 pm

$40

Halloween Create & Paint Party | Family WorkshopFriday, October 28
Single Class
4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
$40 per family
No SCCA member discount will be applied
Put down the iPad & join us in the classroom space for a unique experience… Create & paint Halloween inspired decorations with Nicole. Make it memorable, costumes are encouraged.
Participants will use underglaze to paint 4 Halloween themed items. Use wet clay to make a candy corn ghost gnome or Halloween inspired sculpture. The instructor will demonstrate the pinch technique & take students step by step through the sculpture process.
Participants will receive a short studio tour & get to pick the perfect glaze for their creations. All participants’ work will be checked/looked over by the instructor to ensure it will survive the firing.
Students will be able to pick the glaze color of their choice for their pieces. SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be called and emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
Led by SCCA youth instructor, Nicole Johnson.
Family Clay Workshops are designed for families to come and play in clay together. Ages 3 and up are welcome. Price of this workshop reflects the cost per family unit.
This class is happening at our classroom location at 1271 Market Street in Chattanooga, TN.
Find the classroom: The classroom space is behind the Firestone building at the corner of Market and W. 13th Street. Classroom entrance is located on West 13th Street directly across from Urban Stack, while the entrance to the parking lot is on Cowart Street. If our parking lot is full, there is plenty of street parking available on Cowart, West 13th, and Market Street.
