The Marketing and Communications intern will help The Enterprise Center build public awareness of its programs and resources. You will assist the Communications Director and other staff members in creating social media campaigns, storytelling, graphics, and more. 

The Enterprise Center is involved in many of the initiatives that make Chattanooga a leader in technology, entrepreneurship, and quality of life — and this internship will give you the chance to be part of that work. You will also have an opportunity to develop skills based on your interest, whether it be writing, photography, graphic design, videography, or creative use of social media. We are looking for a self-starter who can bring their own ideas and goals to our team. 

Specific duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop a keen understanding of the mission and initiatives of The Enterprise Center
  • Assist with newsletters and storytelling
  • Create social media content for The Enterprise Center and Tech Goes Home
  • Write blog posts, highlighting TEC work and partners 
  • Perform other tasks as needed including graphic design, event promotion, and more

This is a part-time in-office position, from January-May, with a pay rate of $15/hour.
